Elizabeth Jamischak

Chair
Elizabeth Jamischak is a seasoned Board Director, who is currently the Board Chair for Angel Investors Durham, Director and former Vice-Chair of the Oshawa Public Libraries, Director of Clarington Concert Band, Director for Certus Canada Inc. and is a member of  the Discipline Committee for the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. She also currently serves as an Advisor for a tech startup in Healthcare.  Elizabeth has also served as Trustee & Secretary of BridgeNorth Women’s Mentorship & Advocacy Services and as President & Chair of Community Development Council Durham in Ajax.
 
As a consultant, Elizabeth has worked with dozens of organizations on their Continuous Improvement initiatives through EZSigma Group and with non-profits in identifying opportunities for organizational growth and development by facilitating the Strategic Planning process, executive recruitment and project assessments. With a background in classical music, she has used her experience as a performance artist to also help her clients with their facilitation and leadership skills and has herself facilitated numerous discussions on a variety of subjects.
 
Elizabeth attended Wilfrid Laurier University, is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is passionate about continuing her education and skill development. She holds memberships with the Institute for Corporate Directors (ICD), the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a former member of Women Get on Boards. She is currently completing the Directors Education Program to earn her ICD.D designation and is an advocate for her community, has been a candidate in the 2018 and 2022 municipal elections, plays in local concert bands, is a co-host for the ICD Peer Networking Group for NFP Board Chairs, is a volunteer leader for women in their 20’s & 30’s at her church and with her husband, are Angel Investors.

Scott Robinson

Scott Robinson

Treasurer

Scott Robinson is a partner, advisor, consultant, and investor with deep experience building and scaling technology ventures. He is a board member and Secretary at Angel Investors Durham, where he supports the organization’s mission of strengthening the early-stage startup ecosystem.

Scott is the co-founder of PitchScore Inc., a platform that uses AI and crowd-sourced data to help entrepreneurs sharpen their pitches and accelerate access to early-stage capital. He has played a key role in developing data-driven pitch assessment and tracking tools now used globally to support founder coaching and mentorship.

An active angel investor, Scott has successfully built and managed a portfolio of seed and angel investments and is a strong advocate for founder-first capital. He also advises and serves on boards of technology-enabled startups through The BlueSprocket Group, providing strategic guidance across growth, funding, and go-to-market execution.

Earlier in his career, Scott helped establish a C$400+ million e-commerce business in Canada in under two years—experience that continues to inform his pragmatic, execution-focused approach to investing and advising. He is also a volunteer executive mentor, pitch competition panelist, and frequent speaker, contributing to the development of a healthy, efficient innovation economy across Canada.

Patrick Lyver

Patrick Lyver is a strategic brand thinker and creative catalyst who turns complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. As founder of brand agency Kleurvision and co-founder of Access IO and Angel Investors Durham, he helps organizations define their identity, align their message, and build momentum.

Equal parts entrepreneur, coach, and creative, Patrick thrives where strategy meets storytelling. He brings clarity to chaos, challenges assumptions, and works with founders, marketers, and leaders to reframe how they show up in the world.

Outside the office, he’s a ski coach, baseball dad, and advocate for living fully engaged. Whether in a brand workshop or on a mountain trail, he brings curiosity, candor, and a bias for action to everything he does.

Patrick Lyver AID Board Member

Angelo Del Duca

Angelo Del Duca has extensive experience in the electronics industry including experience in the research and development of electronic systems and devices.  Additionally, he co-founded a technology company providing expertise to major producers of electronics systems such as Motorola, Welch Allyn, AT&T Labs, and the Defense Research Establishment of Atlantic Canada. This company subsequently exited to a Pittsburgh-based major computer system producer.

Angelo is an active member across several Angel Investor groups and was awarded Angel of the Year by the York Angel Investors in 2016. Angelo is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the York Angel Investors.  He has also been recognized for his Mentoring in the start-up community and was named as Volunteer of the year from the City of Vaughan in 2018 and 2021.  Angelo is routinely asked by companies to serve on their formal Advisor Board and is also an active member on several company Boards.

Dinesh Sachdev is a 25-year sales veteran known for building and scaling high-performance revenue engines. He has led top-performing teams, crafted winning go-to-market strategies, and consistently delivered measurable growth across industries.

Blending strategy with execution, Dinesh helps organizations streamline sales processes, accelerate deal flow, and unlock sustainable revenue. His approach is grounded in real-world experience—equipping businesses with the systems, mindset, and discipline to win consistently.

Frank Auddino

Frank has over thirty-five years in Business Development producing top Sales with a career track record in delivering breakthrough revenue growth. 

Having worked with corporations such as TC TranscontinentalRupert Murdoch News Corporationthe Jim Pattison Group of Companies, and being a partner in a Rogers Media firm, it is the start-ups that are looking for sales growth and require funding that he revels in assisting and volunteering with. 

Currently, Frank is an award-winning angel investor, educator, mentor, and member of multiple investment groups. 

His contributions have awarded him the 2023 York Angel Investors Leadership & Dedication Award2019 NACO Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Canadian Early Stage Innovation Ecosystem, the 2019 Angel Investors Ontario Award for Contribution to Ontario Angel Activity, and the 2018 York Angel Investors Angel of the Year Award.
